Lifting-

Been on a lifting spurt since about beginning of December ’15. I’m hoping it doesn’t count as a new year’s resolution because we know how well those usually go. No specific goal of bulk vs tone in mind.

 

Martial Arts –

I’ve dabbled in martial arts on and off for most of my life.

Tae Kwon Do

Jeet Kun Do

Brazilian Jiu Jitsu

Krav Maga

I’m looking into a new one to join. I took a free Wing Chun class but I wasn’t really feeling it. Truth be told I really wanted to do a Kali/Escrima class which they also did there but it’s expensive for what you get. I mean who doesn’t want to learn stick fighting. I wouldn’t mind learning Aikido either.

 

Yoga-

I started taking yoga while in LA. I used to go up to 3 times a week. I’ve been a few times in Austin but nothing regular. I haven’t been in 5 or 6 months now. I’d like to start going semi-regularly again.

 

Swimming-

Recently started trying to get back into doing laps at the pool again. Swam a ton when I was younger and I enjoyed it. Recently bought myself a waterproof iPod shuffle. Tested it out the other day. Pretty cool!

 

Rock Climbing-

I’ve dabbled a bit with indoor but would like to do more outdoor at some point.

 

Bike Riding-

I’ve been riding an upright stationary bike to help rehab my knee. I’m going to look into a mountain bike soon to start riding trails around me.

 

Racquetball-

I played in college with my friend Eric all the time. Haha I think I hurt my shoulder because I was trying to crush the ball every time. The gym I just joined has courts so I was thinking of starting that back up again. I’ll probably have to join a group since I don’t really know anyone that plays. At least I don’t think I do.
